Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Here at www.fancydressnation.co.uk we believe in offering you the following easy to use delivery options in order to meet your desired delivery date at the lowest cost option to suit. Please note that all these prices are per order and not per item, saving you further on multiple item purchases!

We have a range of delivery option available on the pull down menu of the shipping & handling section (page 2 of the checkout).

You will be able to change the standard default selection of up to 7 working days to any of the following delivery option below, as you checkout.

If required sooner you may change the above delivery option to any of the option below:
Standard delivery aprox 7-15 working days £ 5.95
Priority delivery between 4 - 5 working days £ 6.95
Express delivery between 2 - 3 working days £ 8.95
Parcelforce 48H Gauranteed (2 day) service £9.95

We reserve the right to post multiple order's received from the customer ordered to the same address together without the refund postage cost.

Nextday Service, ONLY available for orders over £120 net of vat & postage, placed between Monday to Friday by 3.30pm £19.95. This is a signed for courier service that requires us to send the delivery to a business address, a business address can be your home address if you work from home and your business name is CLEARLY stated in the field marked "Company". Alternatively you can nominate a different place of work / business address or anyone elses work / business.
If your order is placed on a Friday, please state in the special instructions box, as you check out, if you would like delivery for the nexday Saturday or the next working day Monday. No deliveries will be made on Sunday.
Orders that do not meet the criteria above, we be sent the day after the order is received by Royal Mail Special Delivery Service which is a pre 1.00pm next working day signed for service.
It is recommended that you use a business / work delivery address for this service as the courier will not leave the delivery without a signature at the address stated

Delivery schedules are based on shipping to UK mainland addresses.

Any orders placed after midday may not not be processed until the following day.
The TV & Film Costumes may take slightly longer so please allow an extra 2 working days for delivery or call us for stock availability.
All the above are dependant upon product availability.
If any of the items that you have ordered are found to be out of stock then we shall contact you ASAP providing you with any options to replace these items ordered or option to cancel your order in part or full. Any refund will be automatically processed.

Standard Delivery to any mainland UK address

Standard Delivery can take up to 7-10 working days, however Royal Mail will NOT guarantee this and do not consider a parcel lost until 21 working days from dispatch

If a product that you have ordered is unavailable we will endeavour to contact you, using the details provided by you (please make sure that your contact details are correct), with an alternative or the option to cancel your order in full.

International Delivery.

We can deliver international orders, however you need to call us as the delivery cost is dependent upon the weight of your order and the destination country. You are responsible for full delivery costs involved including any import duties. We cannot describe the goods in the package as anything other than what they are, so please do not ask us to.

Delivery speed guarantee exceptions

Our delivery speed guarantee does not apply when:

* The consignment is held up in a customs clearance process.
* The customs documentation is not fully and accurately completed.
* There are customs duties and/or taxes payable on the consignment.
* The consignment is seized by a customs or governmental authority.
* The consignment requires collection by the recipient.
* The consignment is addressed to a PO Box on any UK service, and for some selected destinations for our International services.
* An item is sent directly to a local post office overseas.
* The consignment has not been packed adequately.
* The consignment contains prohibited or restricted goods.
* The consignment does not have a full address, zip code and telephone number for the shipper and recipient or does not have all relevant despatch packs and labels on.
* Any computer system is affected directly or indirectly by any virus.
* A multiple consignment which has been strapped together.
* Force Majuere; anything outside the control of Parcelforce Worldwide including (but not limited to) fire, flood, explosion, accident, adverse weather conditions, traffic congestion, mechanical breakdown, obstruction of any private or public highway, riot, governmental act, act of god, terrorism, war, or from any industrial dispute whatsoever.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.

Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Returns Policy Returns Policy. All goods purchased from Fancy Dress Nation may be returned for refund, subject to the terms below within 7 days after they have received the goods. NO REFUND WILL BE GIVE IF RETURNED AFTER THIS TIME! Before sending the parcel back to us, please contact us for a Returns Authorisation Number!

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Wigs and undergarments cannot be returned for any reason due to health & hygiene reasons.

If you are not happy with any product you have ordered and received from ourselves, then you may return them to us within 7 days by RECORDED DELIVERY (in accordance with these terms) for refund. Postage costs do not constitute as part of the refund.

All returned goods will only be accepted back for refund, if unused in the same condition as they were sent out, i.e. with all original packaging & with all relevant materials enclosed. Any returns that are not received in this way will NOT be refunded and will be held pending contact and an additional postage fee will be charged return items back.

NB. You must return the orginal invoice or a copy of the orginal invoice with your item and clearly state the reason for why you have returned your item.

No replacement items or credit notes can be dispatched until the returned items have been received by us. Please allow up to 28days for any refunds to appear back on the card / method paid by.

Remittance Terms Payment is taken when the order has been accept online, if however goods are found to be out of stock or have not been despatch within 36 hours we shall contact you, giving you the option of a full refund of your payment or a replacement item option.
