FAQ Frequently Asked Questions

Question: We need our items in a hurry, is this possible?
Answer: Yes, we offer 5 different speeds of delivery that you can select from. You will be give these options to choose from on the secondly page of the checkout process, once you have added all you items to the shopping basket.

Question Are the prices quoted for costumes on the site for hire or to buy?
Answer All the products available on the site are TO BUY. By trading online we are able to offer goods at very competitive prices!

Question: Are there any extra hidden costs?
Answer All our prices are fully inclusive of VAT. The only extra costs are for delivery. These will be added to the order depending on the type of delivery required.

Question: Is it possible to visit your store?
Answer: We are an Internet-based company and do not have a retail outlet. By working this way we can keep prices down and pass the saving on to you!

Question: Is it possible to collect items once purchased online?
Answer: Yes you can collect from items form our warehouse in Digbeth, Birmingham the day after you have placed your order, as long as the order is placed online by 3.00pm the day before collect. Collections are only Monday to Friday, between the hours of 12.00-5.00pm

Question How do I place an order with Fancy Dress Nation ?
Answer: Simply add the items that you are interested in purchasing to your shopping basket by clicking on the "buy now" button then once you have finished adding all your items to your shopping cart you click on the checkout button. You will then complete the invoice / delivery address pages followed by your payment page details were we accept all major credit and debit card as payment for your purchase. After your payment has been processed successfully you will receive an email confirming your purchase was successseful with full details all all items ordered.

Question Is it possible for me to have the goods delivered to a different address to the card holder?
Answer Yes, you can have your order shipped to a different address to the cardholder by filling in the 'Shipping Address' Section on the Shopping Cart Page.

Question How do I know that my details will be safe on the Internet?
Answer: All payments are handled by Protx, were you will see the "secure pad lock" as they offer one of the highest levels of site security available - 128 bit encryption. Once on the payment screen you will see in your address bar that the first part of the url has changed from " http:// " to " https:// " this indicated you are on a secure server for peace of mind.

Question I have received my order confirmation and noticed that there is a mistake on the delivery address. What can I do?
